About Sederma

Founded in 1964, Sederma became a member of the Croda International Group in 1997. Sederma is dedicated to the development of active ingredients and in the creation of innovative concepts for Cosmetics, based on the mastery of biotechnology, fine chemistry and vegetal extraction.

Located near Paris, all Sederma activities, from R&D and manufacturing to administration and warehousing, are gathered in a 7900 m² complex.

Sederma is a world leader in the field of active ingredients intended for the Cosmetic industry. We have developed a unique range of biochemical actives, with substantiated efficacy for sebum regulation (‘adjusting’ dry or oily skin), wrinkle reduction, skin firming, protection from free radicals (which cause skin damage) and a host of other benefits.

With the recent acquisition of the company Istituto di Ricerche Biotecnologiche (IRB) by Croda, Sederma is now also offering a wide range of plant stem cell ingredients with guaranteed efficacy, reproducibility and absolute sustainability.

Sederma specialises in a wide range of cosmetic ingredients for skin and hair care products which are internationally sold to all major cosmetic manufacturers.
